Dana Smith, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Massage Therapy
Dana (She/Her/Hers) offers massage therapy with a gentle, precise approach that blends myofascial release and craniosacral therapy, focusing on soft tissue health and nervous system regulation. Her practice is especially suited for those seeking subtle, nervous-system-supporting care. Craniosacral therapy is provided while remaining fully clothed.

Dana completed her Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) training in British Columbia in 2012. Her treatment style emphasizes gentle, responsive, and trauma-aware care—ideal for individuals navigating persistent pain, stress-related tension, or a complex relationship with their body. She provides care that honours sensitivity and complexity, working collaboratively to support comfort, integration, and well-being.

Dana primarily works with individuals who want to deepen their relationship with their body and learn how to support themselves in healing and transformation. Sessions are slow, intentional, and responsive, adapting in real time to what the body communicates. Rather than following a set protocol, Dana prioritizes collaboration and consent—centering client comfort, autonomy, and readiness throughout each session.

If you’re looking for full-body relaxation or general maintenance massage, a different approach may be a better fit. But for those seeking care that honours nuance, sensitivity, and the whole-person context of care, Dana is honoured to partner with you.

In addition to her manual therapy practice, Dana is a certified coach, facilitator, and meditation teacher. Across all her work, she integrates mind-body-spirit awareness to foster healing, personal leadership, and greater alignment between inner and outer worlds. She sees her practice as a cohesive system supporting clients’ growth toward autonomy, resilience, and self-leadership. She views herself as a facilitator and guide for those on the journey of remembering themselves as whole, unified, and powerful.

Outside of work, Dana enjoys painting, ceramics, gardening, cooking, and exploring the natural world with her partner and dog.

SERVICE TEAM

Meet your Massage Therapy experts.

Looking for a gentler approach with Craniosacral Therapy (CST)?

CST is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the craniosacral system—the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using light touch, practitioners help release restrictions in these tissues to support the nervous system and encourage the body’s natural healing processes.

BENEFITS

Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

Reduce tension, ease pain, improve nervous system regulation, and promote a deep sense of relaxation.

CST is ideal for individuals seeking subtle, nervous-system-aware care—especially those with sensitive systems, persistent pain, or a desire to deepen their connection with their body’s healing process. It has been used to support people experiencing migraines, chronic pain, nervous system dysregulation, stress, postural tension, and stress-related symptoms. Sessions are provided fully clothed in a quiet, comfortable setting.

According to leading educators and research in the field, Craniosacral Therapy is generally considered very safe due to its gentle, non-invasive nature. However, certain health conditions may require consultation with a physician before treatment.

Please inform your therapist if you have any recent head trauma, brain surgery, spinal cord injuries, or diagnosed structural abnormalities in the brain or spine, as some conditions may require physician clearance before receiving Craniosacral Therapy.

Craniosacral Therapy is provided by a licensed Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and can be billed through your extended health insurance plan under massage therapy benefits.
